Voices Returning: Poetry Sound Recording Collection is a sound recording of fourteen women poets published by Bloodaxe and  connected in some way to the North East region of the UK. It is now available to listen to on the NCLA website here.


The Lake is edited by John Murphy. He has published poems in various magazines and journals over the years and taught English and American literature and creative writing at Brunel University, Essex University, St Mary's University College and The Open University. In 2009 he published a book of poems,  The Thing Is...
